This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for easyofficepools.com. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this web site. It will notify you of the following:

1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you.

We collect & store your information when you create or join a pool or signup for one of our mailing list.

We will use your email address, and possible a password, to grant you permissions to edit a team or pool you’ve created.

We may collect the following information from you:

1. Email address
2. Password
3. Name
4. Address
5. Team names / nicknames
6. Date/time of a login
7. Date/time of a creation
8. Date/time of an edit
9. Date/time of a request
10. Other system information required for your use of the site

We do not collect social security numbers.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, unless we specifically disclose who your information will be shared with and for what purpose (for example, if we administer a pool with giveaways, the businesses that supply the giveaways may require an email address in exchange for free stuff, in which case we'd disclose to you that by supplying us your email we'll also be sharing your email with other parties).  

If you are admin of a pool, your email address will be shared with anyone that adds a team to your pool.

If you've added a team to a pool, your name (not your email) may be visible to anyone who accesses the VIEW page for your pool or your pool's leaderboard page. Your email and name are visible to the pool admin on their secured ADMIN page. Pool admins will likely contact you via email if you join their pool.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.  

Your data will be kept in our systems forever unless you ask us to delete it. Pool admins, of pools you join, may extract your email to use for communication with you before, during, and after your pool. Pool admins, of pools you join, can access your email when logged in to their admin screen, including pools you joined in the past and pools currently underway and pools slotted for the future.

Google Analytics (GA) is used to track the following:

• What website you came from to get here.
• How long you stay for.
• What kind of computer you’re using.
• And quite a bit more.

The GA tracking information allows us to better understand the kind of people who come to our site and what actions they're taking. This allows us to make better designs and technology.

When you get an email confirmation, password reset confirmation, or a broadcast email, 3rd party services called Mailchimp, Sendinblue, and Amazon Web Services are used. Mailchimp, Sendinblue, and Amazon Web Services store your email address and all outbound emails to you, but do not send emails to you that aren't affiliated with Easy Office Pools.

When you contact us via email, a 3rd party service called Helpscout is used to help manage customer support requests. Helpscout keeps a record of all emails but does not send emails to you that aren't affiliated with Easy Office Pools.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address given on our website CONTACT page:

• See what data we have about you, if any.
• Change/correct any data we have about you.
• Have us delete any data we have about you.
• Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected as follows:

• Credit card information is not stored nor processed on our website, but instead managed via Paypal or Stripe to insure transactions are processed securely.
• We encrypt passwords stored in our databases, except for “entrant passwords”, used by many people to gain entry to a pool, which are stored in plain text as they are intended to be shared broadly.

The Site is meant for adults and those who have reached the age of majority as defined by the laws of their domicile. This Site is not meant for individuals under the age of 18 or those defined by the laws of their domicile as minors. Nonetheless, this Privacy Policy is still designed to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) to the extent COPPA applies. Accordingly, we do not knowingly collect or retain any personal information about users under the age of 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that we collected or retained personal information about a child under the age of 13, that information will be promptly deleted from our database, servers, and all other media. Since we do not collect information from users under 13 years old, no such information is disclosed to third-parties.

We note, however, that we will only knowingly receive, process, and store information on those who are under the age of 13 with parental consent. We take steps to maintain the privacy of that information. We do not share it with any third-parties who do not have a reasonable need for such information related to the provision of the Site Services. We aim to collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide the Services to individuals under the age of 13. The following type of information may be kept: name, email address, team name (nickname), password. Parents of children under the age of 13 have the right to review and ask for the deletion of the personal information kept on their child(ren). You can request access to this information by contacting us at the contact information listed on the bottom of this policy.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page.
